I spent a total of  nights and 3 days in Phuket and these were the highlights of my stay.

Fisherman’s Village

Fisherman’s Village is more than just a name; it’s a window into Koh Samui’s soul. This quaint and charming area is lined with old wooden houses, trendy shops, and eateries that offer a glimpse into the island’s rich history and culture. On Fridays, the village transforms into a bustling night market. Here, visitors can find everything from delicious street food to handmade souvenirs. Moreover, the beachside setting provides a beautiful backdrop, especially during sunset, making it a perfect spot for evening strolls.

Choengmon Beach

Nestled in a quiet corner of Koh Samui, Choengmon Beach is a haven of tranquility away from the island’s busier spots. This picturesque beach boasts soft, white sand and crystal-clear waters, making it an ideal location for swimming and sunbathing. Surrounded by lush greenery and dotted with upscale resorts, Choengmon offers a more secluded and luxurious experience. The beach is family-friendly, with a relaxed atmosphere that appeals to visitors seeking serenity. Small restaurants and bars line the shore, providing delicious local cuisine and refreshing drinks. I recommend you can to have a drink or lunch at Pi Samui Beach Club, a very nice place to chill out.

Ko Rap

Ko Rap & Ko Mat Sum Islands

A short boat ride from Koh Samui takes you to the twin islands of Ko Rap and Ko Mat Sum. These islands are untouched paradises, boasting crystal-clear waters, and lush vegetation. Ko Rap is some kind of desert island where you can take a nap in a hammock after lunch. On the other hand, Ko Mat Sum, offers pristine beaches perfect for relaxation and picnics.

Ko Mat Sum is affectionately known as “Pig Island” because of its most unexpected and adorable inhabitants – a small population of friendly pigs that roam freely on its sandy shores. These pigs have become a unique attraction, drawing visitors from near and far who are eager to see and interact with them in their unusual beachside habitat.

Ko Pha-Ngan Island

Ko Pha-Ngan island, famous for its Full Moon Parties, holds much more than just vibrant nightlife. Indeed, the island’s natural beauty is breathtaking, with stunning beaches, waterfalls, and jungles waiting to be explored. Haad Rin Beach, while known for its parties, is also a beautiful place to relax during the day. Moreover, the island offers a range of activities, from hiking and snorkeling to yoga and meditation retreats, catering to all types of travelers.

Bottle Beach, located on Ko Pha-ngan, stands out as one of Thailand’s most secluded and pristine beaches. Known for its stunning crystal-clear waters and soft, white sand, this beach is a slice of paradise, offering tranquility away from the island’s busier spots. Surrounded by lush, dense jungle, it’s accessible primarily by boat, adding to its untouched charm. A hike away lies the Bottle Beach Viewpoint, providing breathtaking panoramic views of the beach and surrounding landscapes. The viewpoint is a must-visit for adventurers and those looking to capture the beauty of Ko Pha-ngan from above. The trek takes 30 minutes to reach the top. And then less than 20 minutes to go back to the beach. But the unforgettable vistas is clearly worth the effort!
