That’s it. You decided to visit Corfu during your next vacation. The first question you are probably asking to your self now is : how do I get to Corfu ? There are two main options. By air and then you will probably have to rent a car. Or by sea with a ferry boat.

From London

Ryan Air and EasyJet starts their direct flights on March 27th. EasyJet flights are daily while Ryan Air flies 3 times a week. The flight time is a little bit more than 3 hours.

During high season there are more companies (including Tui and British Airways) and many options. EasyJet as up to 4 direct flights every day, 2 from Gatwick and 2 from Luton !

From the rest of the UK

If you don’t live close to London, you’ve got plenty of choice whatever region of the UK you live in. Corfu airport has direct connections with Bristol in the West, with Manchester, Leeds and Doncaster in the North, Birmingham in the centre of the country, Glasgow in Scotland and Cardiff in Wales amongst others.

Get to Corfu from France

From Paris

Transavia starts its direct flights on April 5, 3 to 5 times a week until October 28. The flight time is a little bit more than 2 hours and 30 minutes. You will find flights around 70 euros almost every week, including July and August, if you book early enough.

Easyjet offers a daily direct flight Paris CDG – Corfu from June 26 until September 3.

As of June Aegean flies also direct from Paris CDG. There are many more options in July and August, including Air France.

From the rest of France

Transavia proposes direct flights from Nantes to Corfu in July and August, while Easyjet flies directlty from Lyon to Corfu.

From other European cities

You can fly direct from Corfu airport to a dazzling range of destinations in Europe and far beyond. Try Milano, Frankfurt, Rome, Munich and Brussels for a start. Corfu airport routes also include major European cities like Prague, Stuttgart, Berlin, Amsterdam and Barcelona. Plus Basel, Budapest, Cologne and Copenhagen. Even further afield, you can fly between Corfu and holiday hotspots like Tel Aviv, Cairo, Cancun, Beijing and New York.

From Greece

There are obvioulsy many options with Aegean and Olympic Airways.

You can fly between Corfu and Athens, Thessaloniki, Naxos, Santorini, Crete, Larnaca, Samos, Alexandroupolis Dhmokritos, Mytilene and Rhodes among others. So as well as being a great place to head for a standard holiday, Corfu can also be a great ‘dropping off’ place to start a longer, wider Greek adventure.

Get to Corfu by sea

If you come from Greece, ferries depart from Igoumenitsa every day. The duration of the trip is approximately 1h30 and there are available itineraries every 1-2 hours. The first ferry starts early in the morning and and the last one around midnight.

Moreover, Corfu is reachable by ferry from Italy, particularly from the ports of Venice, Bari, and Ancona. These ferries are very convenient for Italian and central European passengers who want to travel with their car.

The Corfu Saranda ferry route connects Ionian Islands with Albania and is currently operated by 5 ferry companies.
