Als u besluit om op Corfu<\/a> te verblijven in Villa Voukithro<\/a>, dan geeft dit artikel u alle informatie over wat er te zien is rond de villa. Ook leest u waar de dichtstbijzijnde stranden en restaurants zijn, waar u boodschappen kunt doen, en meer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wat te zien rond Villa Voukithro<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Oude Perithia<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Oude Perithia<\/a>, het oudste dorp van Corfu, ligt op slechts 4 kilometer afstand van Villa Voukithro. Het is een bezoekje waard als je in Villa Voukithro verblijft. Het is een wandeling van een uur als je moedig bent, of slechts een 11 minuten rijden. Ik ga daar graag lunchen of dineren in een van de vele tavernes. Of als uitgangspunt voor een van de wandelingen naar Mount Pantokrator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De grotten<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Een andere excursie in de directe omgeving van Villa Voukithro is de grot in het dorp Loutses (ook wel bekend als Grava aan de lokale bevolking). Ze bevinden zich op een hoogte van ongeveer 300 meter. Je kunt ze bereiken aan het einde van een klein pad dat afdaalt naar de natuur. De toegang tot de grotten is vrij groot en biedt toegang tot een ruime ruimte met een plafond bedekt met stalactieten. De grotten van Loutses en de grotten van Antropograva, gelegen nabij Klimatia, zijn de belangrijkste op het hele eiland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Loutses kerk<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Als je het kleine pad voor Villa Voukithro neemt, kom je na een paar honderd meter bij de Loutses kerk. Niets bijzonders maar het is typisch voor alle kleine kerken in Corfu. We kunnen een paar treden beklimmen om de klokken te zien en hebben een mooi uitzicht op de omgeving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bee Happy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Op loopafstand van de Villa, bij Loutses op weg naar Perithia, vindt u Bee Happy. Het is een leuke winkel waar je kunt begrijpen hoe een korf werkt. U kunt ook honing of honing gebaseerde producten zoals zeep kopen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dichtstbijzijnde stranden van Villa Voukithro<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Villa Voukithro is halverwege de berg. Het ligt niet aan zee. Het dichtstbijzijnde strand is Kalamaki Beach, op 5 kilometer van de villa. Het is slechts 10 minuten rijden, maar u heeft een auto nodig. Iets verder en veel mooier zijn Agios Spiridon strand en Kassiopi stranden<\/a>, op slechts 15 minuten afstand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En als u klaar bent om een beetje meer tijd door te brengen om uitstekende stranden te zien, probeer Porto Timoni<\/a>, Paleokastritsa<\/a> of Peroulades<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taverna’s Villa Voukithro<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Er is een taverna in Loutses genaamd Nitzos. Het is net naast Bee Happy winkel, 800 meter van de villa. Het is een mooie wandeling en je vindt in de taverna de klassiekers van Grieks eten zoals Griekse salade, moussaka en Mythos bieren!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Op 10 minuten rijden van de villa heb je twee opties. Een van de taverna’s van het oude Perithia dorp. Persoonlijk vind ik Ognistra leuk bij de ingang van het dorp en de taverna de oude perithia. Ook op 1\u00e0 minuten afstand maar in Perithia dorp vind ik Taverna Harris erg leuk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En dan even verder kun je bij Kassiopi, Avlaki of Agios Stefanos eten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Waar voedsel te kopen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

U vindt 2 kleine supermarkten in Perithia, op 10 minuten van Villa Voukithro. Maar voor grotere boodschappen is het beter om naar Acharavi te gaan. Er zijn verschillende supermarkten en u vindt alles. Wees niet verbaasd als het tijd is om te betalen, het eten is daar veel goedkoper dan in uw eigen land!
