Deze gouden, aromatische bouillon is gemaakt met versnipperde kip, kurkuma, citroengras, en kaffer limoen bladeren, waardoor een uitbarsting van smaken in elke lepel. Geserveerd met rijst vermicelli, hardgekookte eieren, spruitjes, en soms aardappelen, het is bedekt met <em>koya<\/em>, een hartig mengsel van garnalenpoeder en gebakken knoflook, voor extra diepte. Kokosmelk voegt rijkdom toe aan curry&#8217;s, soepen en sauzen, terwijl geraspte kokos wordt vaak gebruikt in desserts en snacks.
